You have been referred to our office by your ophthalmologist who has found a retinal condition and requests further evaluation by Dr. Ira Garoon and Dr. Robert Garoon. This evaluation requires both eyes to be dilated for examination and testing. Your visit should last approximately 2 hours. You will receive all results at the end of your visit and the report will be sent to your referring physician and primary care physician.
New patients should come with a driver if possible as both eyes will be dilated and dilation effects last on average 24-48 hours.
We will need all new patients to fill out history forms that will include their medical, social and family history. You are able to download these forms on the website prior to the visit and have them ready on the day of your examination, otherwise they can be filled out upon arrival of your appointment date.
