The Center for Vitreo Retinal Diseases is pleased to welcome Robert Garoon, MD, to join our practice in the treatment of retinal and vitreous conditions.
Dr. Robert Garoon attended Emory University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Spanish language. He completed his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as a third year medical student. Dr. Garoon completed his general ophthalmology residency training at the Baylor College of Medicine, Cullen Eye Institute in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Garoon recently completed a two year Surgical Retina Fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, one of the most prestigious programs in the country. Dr. Garoon is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Medical Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Garoon enjoys spending time outdoors, running, golfing, and scuba diving.
